我们是一个由高中生组成的队伍，现就读于加拿大温哥华的一所高中。我们决心让所有的中国孩子更容易接触到英语。 我们目前专注于中国甘肃的一群学生。我们希望在未来扩大我们的影响力并接触到更多的人。

We are a team of high school students based in Vancouver, Canada determined to make English more accessible to children who are underprivileged and cannot attain such an education. We are currently focused on a group of students in Gansu, China and we wish to further our impact and reach out to more people in the future.

Sentinel Secondary is a highschool located in Vancouver, Canada and it is the home to all of our teachers currently.

Our mission is to set a solid foundation in the English language for non-native English speakers by through connecting high school students in Canada with under-privileged students of all ages in remote and rural areas in Mainland China. We teach in a creative and engaging manner to spark interest in young children who may not have been introduced to this type of learning.

Our Story
It all started in 2016 when our founder, Duncan, was in grade 6. He realized his English level was not good enough for him to fully understand his school subjects; so he reached out to a tutor who later turned out to make a big impact on his future career and even inspire him to start non-profit organization to help others across the globe...

作为学生，我们也知道有时候在课堂上听课和集中注意力时常是是困难的，尤其是在科目枯燥乏味的时候。我们也了解当以前从未接触过一门全新的语言时，学习这种全新语言所面临的挑战。这就是为什么我们正在积极尝试一种全新的教学方式，强调和注重个人创造力、积极参与度和凝聚力。

How We Teach
As students ourselves, we know how difficult it is sometimes to listen and focus in class, especially when the task is dull and mundane. We also understand the challenge in learning a completely new language when you have never been previously exposed to it your entire life. That is why we are actively trying a whole new way of teaching, with emphasis on personal creativity, engagement, and remembrance.
